Antique J&G Meakin Amiens Dish set 50 Piece

This is a beautiful 50 piece set with minimal flaws. Antique RARE J & G Meakin AMIENS Pattern. A gorgeous Pattern Of Ivory With A Cream Rim At Top, Rim Has A Nouveau Style Pattern Of Laurel Wreaths And Drapes And Small Bunches Of Light Turquoise Green Leaves With Pink Flowers Hanging Down. Small Black And White Pattern Of Diamond Shaped'X's Going Around Rim And Thin Gold Bands.

Later versions of this pattern were made with a different stamp, different color mark, and the name SOL added- this set is from the EARLIER mark for this pattern. Bottoms of dishes Marked'J&G Meakin Hanley England.

Details of Markings on Bottom. All dishes with the exception of the tea cups have a green ribbon banner and crown with J&G Meakin Hanley England. Some items have a red mark with a noticeable number. Some items have an indented stamped number (example, 10 or 22). 3 Dinner plates have a chip on the underside of the lip. Not noticeable when looking at it. 1 tea cup has a chip. 1 lid of the vegetable serving bowl has a chip on the underside of the lid.

Not the bowl and not seen. 1 gravy boat resting plate. 1 vegetable serving bowl with lid. I have another vegetable serving bowl with lid but this has more obvious damage so is not mentioned in the listing as part of the set quantity.

The handle was glued and came off (not a good repair), but a hand person may be able to repair this. There is also a hairline crack in the lid. I can include this piece if you request it. It was part of the set.
